What does “Limited Edition” Fabric mean and why is it better for the environment and sustainability?

Each season we source unique fabrics from verified sellers of left over and/or unused yardage of fabrics gathered from design and fabric warehouses. The industry terminology for these fabrics is “dead stock.” Large companies often produce or purchase fabrics in mass quantities and don’t use leftover fabric–especially if there are only a few rolls left. For us, however, they are a treasure trove of unexpected and varied textures that make for very limited quantities, great experimentation, and (just like a thrift store and vintage shopping) are good for the environment.

How is the brand sustainable in other ways?

We hope that every piece you purchase will be in your wardrobe for years to come. We design with timelessness and quality in mind. We choose fabrics that are responsibly made and from companies we have personally visited and learned about their ethics and manufacturing methods. Although we cannot verify everything (and we do source some fabrics in Los Angeles that are from foreign factories we do not know much about), we still feel very inspired and confident that we are taking steps to choose with consciousness and care.

We are currently looking into alternative packaging options, so orders will be shipped in only sustainable materials. We will continue to research and learn more about ways to have minimal waste and impact and keep you updated. You can also read more about it on our blog!


For bikinis, we offer separates so you can order tops and bottoms in the size you need. When choosing a one piece, if you are taller than 5’7″ the suit will rise higher on the hips. You may want to size up or down depending on how much coverage you desire.

For bodysuits with separate cup areas (like the LSL bodysuit), you will need to incorporate both cup size and height when choosing your size.

When pre-ordering an item from our shop, please allow 6 weeks for your item to arrive. Pre-orders give you the ability to secure an item before it has been produced. Once the pre-order collection time frame comes to an end, we process and submit all orders for production.


All items are shipped via USPS.

Please allow 24-48 hours for all in-stock orders to ship. Any shortages will be reported immediately. In an effort to ship items as quickly as possible, multiple-piece orders may ship in more than one package.

Please note that pre-order items have a longer lead time for processing.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept Leah Shlaer items purchased through in new condition with all original tags and liners, unworn, for a full refund. You may return items within 15 days from the day of purchase. Note, final sale items and accessories are non-refundable. Any items that were purchased on sale or with a discount code will be refunded based on the amount purchased, not for the most recent marked price.

Once your returned items are received, they will be inspected for: liner removal, liner stains, tag removal, washed items, makeup stains, and other signs of tampering. If Leah Shlaer has any indication of the item not being returned in new condition, the item will be shipped back to you and your refund request will be rejected. It is recommended to try on your purchased items without makeup and deodorant on while wearing underwear. Please return in the original packaging, to avoid dirt on your requested return.

To return an item, contact Leah Shlaer at [email protected] with your order number. Please do not send back items without contacting us first. After confirmation, send back your items in the original, new condition and packaging, with a tracking number. Leah Shlaer is not responsible for lost or stolen items through the mail. If you send a package without tracking or contacting sales and it is not received, we cannot issue a refund.

If you ordered a pre-order item and would like to return or exchange, please contact [email protected]. Pre-Orders have 15 days from shipment to be returned or exchanged.

To exchange an item, contact Leah Shlaer at [email protected] with your order number and request for exchange. Do not send back items without contacting sales first. After confirmation, please send back your items in the original plastic packaging, with a tracking number. Leah Shlaer is not responsible for lost or stolen items through the mail. If you send a package without tracking or contacting sales and it is not received, we cannot process your exchange. Once the items are received, you will be able to exchange for an alternate size. Shipping costs will not be associated with your exchange.

Refund confirmation takes between 48-72 hours, on business days (exception of Holidays). Once confirmed, your bank could take anywhere between 7-21 business days (exception of holidays) to post to your account. For banking details, please contact your bank directly.

Gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Order Errors

If there is an issue with your order (incorrect item, incorrect size, damaged product, etc…) please contact customer service and we will find a solution immediately.

International Shipping is available via USPS International Shipping.
